We won again ! !

It is with great pleasure that I can announce we have recently WON 2 awards. Notibly we regained the Medallia award we won in 2009 and are still top of the tree as far as guest satisfaction goes for 2010 aswell.

But we were also awarded 'Hotel of the Year 2010', which is a great achievement and shows a consistently high performance in all areas.

These awards are for the whole of Europe, Middle East and Asia, so it is a big thank you not only to all our staff who have worked tirelessly to achieve this, but also to you, our guests. It is with your input and help we constantly strive to improve.

Back to the Floor

This is something Wyndham Worldwide, the owners of the Ramada brand have just introduced. It basically ask its senior members of staff to 'go back to the floor' by spending a day in one of its franchised hotels. We were lucky enough to have Sandra Storey, the Director of Operations and Support for Wyndham come to our hotel.

During the day Sandra, cleared tables, cleaned cutlery, worked on our buffet area and even cleaned some of our rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed having her here and hope she had a good experience with us.

We won an International Medallia Award for 2009

We went up against all the other encores in the whole of Europe, Middle East and Asia and Won! Medallia is theguest satisfaction survey which gets sent to every customer with an email address.

The award is scored on the amount of questionnaires sent, the satisfaction score average and the amount of responses to the guest by us. I am please to say our average score was 86% and is a great achievement for all our staff, so thank you all who responded and gave us all your valuable feedback.
